Recitals are special occasions

Students are encouraged to perform at the recitals, but are not required to attend or to perform in them. Students can invite as many relatives or friends as they want.

Students will be informed of the recital date at least one month in advance and will be notified of the time and location at least two weeks before their recital.

Students must arrive 15 minutes before the beginning of the recital. Photo Opportunities will be available both prior to and following each recital.

There is $40 recital fee per student to help pay for the event including rental of the concert hall, trophies and programs. (Families with two or more students will be charged $35 per student.)

Each recital (concert) is considered to be as a music lesson whether or not a student attends so if the lesson and recital time is in conflict, student may require a make-up lesson. Any type of rehearsal before the recital is considered to be a lesson.

During the performance all cell phones must be turned off and toddlers are not allowed in the concert halls.

Participating students and their families are expected to remain for the duration of the entire recital, thereby providing ample audience and respect for all performers.
