After countless hours of practicing and performances in the semi-finals, it all came down to this!

The Leeds International Piano Competition, in which fearless competitors tackle some of the most difficult and best-loved piano concertos ever written.

Dmytro Choni (Ukraine), Alim Beisembayev (Kazakhstan), and Thomas Kelly (U.K.), Kaito Kobayashi (Japan) and Ariel Lanyi (Israel) made one last herculean effort to grab the top prize!

The Leeds International Piano Competition 2021 Winners are:

1st Prize & The Waterman Gold Medal, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Society Award and the medici.tv Audience Prize
