Annuncing XIV International Arts Competition for Young Performers Colibri 2021- Instrumental Division

UIDARTS with the support of City West Hollywood announced the Fourteenth Annual “Colibri 2021″ International Arts Competition for Young Performers comprised of five individual competitions – Instrumental, Vocal, Dance, Photo and Visual Art. The competitions started in May, 2021 and will continue through December, 2021.

"Every time i am invited as an adjudicator to piano competitions, especially international ones, i feel honored and happy to meet new rising stars. Musical competitions are more subjective then any other competitions that don't involve live performances, and leaving lots of room for contestant's creativity, being opened to individual interpretations and inspire participants to avoid playing to please jury members, coming up with the interpretation that fit all is a big responsibility". Natalia Kartashova, Doctor of Musical Arts, Ph. D in psycholog.

This year the Competition is being held ONLINE only.  It has been an unprecedented challenge to achieve results on instrumentalist training, when both lessons and performances are being held virtually. However, it is exciting to receive the videos of young musicians from all latitudes and discover pleasent surprises.

From the Russian Academy of Music we thank the organizers of the Colibri Festival 2021, the parents of the contestants and all of you enthusiast who wish to preserve the art of music as a world heritage asset.
